Anderston/City by-election, 2016

SNP gain from Labour

A by-election was held for the Anderston/City ward of Glasgow City Council on 5 May 2016 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Gordon Matheson after being appointed as a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University.

Angus Millar gained the seat for the SNP.
