New Independent gain

A by-election was scheduled to be held for the Taobh Siar agus Nis ward of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar on 12 March 2015 following the death of Independent Cllr Kenneth Murray.

No contest was held after Alistair MacLennan was returned unopposed as an Independent.
