Independent Rhind gain from Liberal Democrats

A by-election was held for the Tain and Easter Ross ward of The Highland Council on 28 September 2017 following the resignation of Liberal Democrats Cllr Jamie Stone after being elected MP for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross in June.

Alasdair Rhind gained the seat as an Independent.
